For this project I had to chose a film which will then help me create a visualisation for something in the home. I chose the film Avatar because of the bright colours that are used. I create a various samples using weave, knit and print. I chose my knit samples as the colours blend well together. As Avatar is a digitally made film I chose to edit my samples using photoshop. Below you can see my samples originally and how they would look when I created a pattern and then you can see where I have manipulated my sample using a technique on photoshop and what they look like as a cushion. I enjoyed this project quite a lot, just wish I could of actually made the cushions using my pattern… maybe this is what I could do in the future?
